A graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School at Syracuse University with a master’s degree in writing from Emerson College, Rochelle draws on her rural New York roots to create layered, emotionally divisive stories that resonate with book club readers.

She lives in Florida with her family and is currently at work on her next Laketown novel.
